From blog openleft quick hits:
Both India and China look to diplomatically active Iran for stable future supplies of oil and gas, with India heavily invested in at least one pipeline project planned to go through Pakistan. India's current plans to build out its air defenses will surely not affect the rationally self-interested impunity with which they ignore US entreaties to stop trading with Iran. And anyway, the Bush administration already agreed to share civilian nuclear technology with India, it isn't like that's going to be used as leverage at this point.
Maybe it's time to admit that the US doesn't have unilateral say over what happens in the Middle East anymore.
